Dr. Heidi Winot, Veterinarian and Practice Owner
Dr. Winot is a native of Wardsboro, VT with more than 25 years of experience working with cats, dogs, and pocket pets. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont in 1989 and graduated with honors from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She currently has a Maltese, a cat, and a variety of chickens. |
Dr. Tara Torcoletti, Associate Doctor and Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist
Dr. Torcoletti graduated from Colorado State University in 2003. She trained at the Chi Institute in Gainesville, Florida to obtain her certification in veterinary acupuncture. She has been providing veterinary acupuncture to patients for many years. She has a dog and 3 cats. |
Our Staff
Angela Hescock, Technician
Angela resides in Wardsboro and has been working with Dr. Winot in the small animal field for over 20 years. She was enrolled in the veterinary technician program at Mount Ida College. She enjoys performing dentals on our patients and has thus been deemed the “dental queen”. Angela has a house full of animal friends that include a dog, four cats, fish, frogs, and hermit crabs. |
Beth Cable, Office Administrator and Head Receptionist
Beth has worked in the veterinary services field for over 18 years. She started as a veterinary assistant, technician and receptionist. She holds an Associates degree from the Community College of Vermont and previously worked at a zoo as well as a pet store. Her African Gray parrot “Max” keeps her very busy. |
Katrina Hamilton, Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant
Katrina lives with her horse, a dog, a herd of Boer goats, and ducks. She worked at a large animal veterinary practice before joining our team. She has an Associates degree in Business Management with a focus on Accounting and an Associates Degree in Agriculture from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Katrina is our “IT” person here at the clinic, maintaining our Facebook page and newsletter, and is the clinics Certified Weight Coach for our Project Pet Slim Down Program. |
Nicole Winot, Customer Service Representative
Nicole joined our office in 2018. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor's of Science in Cinematic Production with a communications focus and a minor in Creative Writing. She currently has a cat, a rabbit, and two guinea pigs. |
Katie Small, Veterinary Assistant
Katie joined the office in July of 2019, with her three "dudes" aka dogs: Ragnar, Blade and Bishop. She has been working with animals for the past 14 years in Maine, before moving to VT in 2016. Katie is currently planning her September wedding and just finished her Yoga Teacher Training, making her a Registered Yoga Teacher! Jessica Farquhar, Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist
Jess has been in the veterinary field since 2002 and began working with us in 2013. She is a proud mother of 3 munchkins and currently has 2 dogs, several chickens, rabbits, pigs, and turkeys. You may see her on and off as her kiddos keep her busy, but she lends us a helping hand when she is able. |
